May 1919: Lorenzo Bisceglia, founder of the family, accepts to run a business on behalf of the Bisceglia-Pedone farm. He stays in office for almost 40 years and, during that period, he launched the first mechanical oil press in Mattinata. So it begins the successfull and fruitful relationship between Bisceglia and extravirgin olive oil.

October 1963: Michele Bisceglia senior, after a long experience next to his father Lorenzo, establishes the oil press Bisceglia. Michele senior realized then his own dream, the pride of the family still today. Even though he could not afford so much, he reached an important goal for his family and for Mattinata. Michele Bisceglia's name became a symbol of high quality oil production and honesty among his costumer, handing down his example to his progenies!

September 1975: the two sons of Michele, Lorenzo and Giovanni, manage the farm of Bisceglia. The two brothers were motivated by the need to advertise their products on a broader market. They started taking part in several renowned and qualified trade fairs, receiving sometimes prizes and identification marks. In 1992 they attain a big step forward, by embracing the philosophy of Organic Agriculture. They, in fact, invested all their resources in changing harvesting methods as prescribed by the rules of Organic Agriculture.

December 2004: Michele Bisceglia, son of Giovanni and grandson of the founder, founds SANOLI.
